How do I scan a QR code?
Simply open the app and point your camera at the QR code. The app will automatically detect and scan it. You can also tap the photo icon to scan from your photo library.
What barcode formats are supported?
QR Scanner supports multiple formats including QR Code, EAN-13, EAN-8, Code 128, Code 39, PDF417, and Data Matrix.
Where is my scan history stored?
All scan history is stored locally on your device. No data is sent to external servers, ensuring your privacy and security.
How do I clear my scan history?
Go to the History tab, tap "Clear All" in the top-right corner, and confirm the action. You can also swipe left on individual items to delete them.
What is EMVCo payment support?
EMVCo is a standard for mobile payment QR codes. When you scan a payment QR code, the app will show merchant details like name, amount, and currency.
Can I scan QR codes from photos?
Yes! Tap the photo icon in the scanner view to select an image from your photo library. The app will automatically detect and scan any QR codes in the image.
Why isn't my QR code scanning?
Make sure the QR code is clearly visible and well-lit. Hold your device steady and ensure the QR code fits within the scanning frame. Clean your camera lens if needed.
How do I re-generate QR codes and barcodes?
After scanning a code, tap the "Re-Generate QR Code" or "Re-Generate Barcode" button on the result screen. The app will create a new code from the scanned content that you can save or share.
What's the difference between QR Code and Barcode generation?
When you scan a barcode, the app shows "Re-Generate Barcode" and creates the same format (Code 128, EAN-13, etc.). For QR codes, it shows "Re-Generate QR Code" and creates a QR code. Both can be saved to Photos or shared.
How do I save generated codes to Photos?
In the code generation view, tap "Save to Photos". You'll get haptic feedback and a success notification confirming the code was saved to your photo library.

🛠 Troubleshooting
Camera not working
Make sure you've granted camera permissions to the app. Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Camera and enable access for QR Scanner.
App crashes or freezes
Try force-closing the app and reopening it. If the problem persists, restart your device or contact support.
Photo library access not working
Check that you've granted photo library permissions. Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Photos and select "All Photos" for QR Scanner.
